Tap water
The ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ is committed to ensuring that tap water is drunk instead of bottled water and that water services remain in the public sector.
- For students and staff, the ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ applies the principle of “bring your own drinking bottle”; this can be filled with fresh tap water at any tap or drinking fountain.
- All canteens and cafeterias at the ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ have a water station in the public area where fresh drinking water in glasses can be obtained free of charge. In addition, the gastronomy partner ZFV offers low-cost carbonated drinking water on tap at various locations.
Catering
- Carafes with an engraved “Blue University Bern” logo are available for employees at meetings and in conferences at the ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ. The carafes can be ordered from .
- For catering events and events for up to 100 people, the gastronomy partner ZFV offers both sparkling and non-sparkling drinking water on tap in liter bottles. This pre-filled water can be ordered one working day in advance for orders of up to 50 people and two working days in advance for orders of 51 to 100 people via the .
