Foreign researchers who have just taken up a post at the ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ can count on the support and information provided by the ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ's Welcome Center. This includes an early initial contact, information on residence permits, accommodation, finance and insurance as well as on civil unions and family.

German courses are available from the (Deutsch als Fremdsprache, DAF).

Once a year, all scientists who have taken up a post at the ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ over the previous months are greeted by the President and the different university service centers on the occasion of a welcome cocktail.
